Gisela Menossi is an Argentine beauty pageant titleholder.[1] She participated in the Miss Earth Argentina 2009, an annual national Miss Argentina beauty pageant.[2][3] She represented her country in the Miss Earth 2009, an annual international beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness[4][5][6] and one of the three largest beauty pageants in the world in terms of the number of national-level competitions to participate in the world finals.[7][8][9]

Miss Earth Argentina

Menossi, from the province of Córdoba, was elected as Miss Argentina Earth 2009 in the Miss Argentina 2009 beauty pageant competition, produced by N-Entertainment, which was held on May 16, 2009 at the Civic Center Plaza, Seca, San Juan, Argentina.[1][4] She was 21 years during the competition and stands 5 feet and 11 inches. The pageant was participated by 24 contestants and broadcasted by Canal 5 Noticias (C5N) news cable channel.[2][3]

Miss Earth 2009

Menossi won the crown and title of Miss Earth Argentina.[2][3] She represented Argentina in the 9th edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant, which was held at the Boracay Ecovillage Resort and Convention Center, in the Island of Boracay, Philippines, which started on November 1, 2009 with its final on November 22, 2009.[1][4][10] The Miss Earth winner serves as the spokesperson for the Miss Earth Foundation, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and other environmental organizations.[11] About 90 contestants from different countries and territories are expected to compete in the event.[10]
